Are you excited by job variety? Do you have fantastic communication skills? Are you wanting to make a real difference in your community? If so, Selworthy Special School have an exciting new position open for a School Receptionist to join a friendly administrative team and wider Trust family.  

Job overview

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the reception facility, answering calls and dealing with face-to-face enquiries, signing in visitors and ensuring all visitors are appropriately monitored, as well as providing general clerical and administrative support and maintaining school records.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English
  • Ability to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis
  • Experience of using information management systems and strong IT skills including recent knowledge of MS Office 365
  • A high level of verbal and written communication standards and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to show reliability and to work to meet key deadlines
  • Integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
