Teaching Assistant
West Monkton CofE Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership Trust, seeks to appoint a teaching assistant. We are looking to employ a member of staff who is flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and has patience. The role involves working on a 1:1 basis and in small pupil intervention groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working 1:1 with pupils with a range of specific SEND, as required.
- Working in small intervention groups.
- Implementing adaptations to learning identified by the class teachers and SENDCo.
- Working closely with the class teachers, Pastoral Assistant and other Teaching Assistants to support the pupils.

Experience Desirable:
- Experience in education.
- Experience Supporting pupils with SEND.
- Experience working with High Needs children.
Hours of work: Full time. Term time only (38 weeks). Hours 30.42 hours a week.
