Finance Apprentice Level 3 AAT
The Oak Partnership is seeking to appoint an a highly motivated Finance Apprentice for a Level 3 AAT to be part of the Trust’s Finance team which includes time for your AAT Level 3 Finance qualification studies. The Oak Partnership is a Multi Academy Trust consisting of primary and special schools based in the Somerset Local Authority. The integrity of the financial data is paramount to assist all leadership teams in making good educational decisions based on sound financial data reported through the management accounts.
What will I be doing?
Acting as part of a hands-on Finance team, you will gain hands-on experience in various Finance functions. You will support the team in delivering a high-quality Finance service while learning and developing your own Finance skills and knowledge. What will I need?
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in Finance
- Basic understanding of Finance principles and practices is an advantage but not essential if you can demonstrate a can-do attitude and desire to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness to complete an apprenticeship suitable to your level and experience in addition to further training and willingness for further study to support your progression
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in maintaining records, processing information, and handling sensitive data
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive working relationships
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions, with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Be qualified at Level 2 AAT.
Pay and benefits:
- Starting salary of £22,728 which will progress with your experience and apprenticeship.
